At a bend in a winding road in central Madagascar lies the small village of Soatanana, nicknamed the white village. Dressed in white all year round, the followers of the Lord's revival live there in community, following the rhythm of their beliefs. They gather at the church every Sunday, where the melodious songs of their long mass rise up. A place outside of time.

From the Sahel to Central Asia, deserts harbour as many riches as mysteries. They are a world apart, where time passes differently. Life, subject to harsh trials, nevertheless flourishes there, from one oasis to another.
